IFP outsources the supervision of our advisors’ commission-based business through LPL to LPL’s Home Office Supervision (HOS) program. This allows us as, the RIA, to focus our compliance efforts on fee-based business and LPL, as the broker-dealer, to focus on the commission business. As dually-registered advisor with IFP and LPL, you will be visited once every two years by an LPL examiner pertaining to commission business.
Multiple Custodians and Third Party Money Managers
|Access to custody fee-based assets at five (5) different custodians: LPL, Fidelity, Schwab, TD Ameritrade, and Pershing. We also have over thirty (30) approved Third Party Money Managers (“TPMM”) and a robust TPMM approval process for any managers not currently on our approved list.|
Relationship Management Team
|Two full-time relationship managers to address questions, concerns and ideas. External relationship managers travel to advisor offices once per year, relaying advisor feedback to the IFP headquarters that directly effect business policies.|
