IFP Selects Wealthbox CRM and BNY Mellon’s Albridge to Further Service Advisor Technology Needs

by Max Griendling

Independent Financial Partners (IFP), a multi-custodial RIA and soon-to-be broker-dealer with over 500 advisors nationwide, specializing in wealth management and retirement plan consulting, has announced that it has partnered with Wealthbox and selected BNY Mellon’s Albridge to provide an enhanced experience for advisors.

The partnership with Wealthbox will provide IFP’s advisors access to CRM workspaces that are configured for IFP’s technology operations. Advisors will have access to Wealthbox’s contact management, calendaring, opportunity management and email-integrated CRM features among others in a menu of deployable assets from Advisor[X], IFP’s technology hub. This will include integrations with other mutual partners such as Advizr, for financial wellness planning, and Albridge for wealth reporting.

In each Wealthbox workspace, IFP advisors will also be able to take advantage of automated workflows that are published by IFP to help advisors operate their practices. These workflow templates in Wealthbox, initially 12 of them, can be further customized by IFP advisors so they can hit the ground running, which saves time and increases efficiency.

Divisional President of IFP Plan Advisors, Jeff Acheson said, “With its intuitive product design and powerful features, Wealthbox will help our advisors spend more time with their clients and less time struggling with old-school CRM technology. We’re thrilled to provide IFP advisors with a simple-yet-powerful CRM product so they can increase their job satisfaction and productivity. Having Wealthbox as the preferred CRM in our technology stack empowers our broker-dealer immensely.”

John Rourke, CEO of Wealthbox added, “We’re delighted to be selected as the preferred CRM technology to power IFP’s fast-growing advisor network. There’s a great match between Wealthbox’s modern product design and the needs of IFP’s sophisticated advisors for elegant and efficient CRM technology.”

IFP and Wealthbox will be holding a webinar for current IFP members and new advisors interested in IFP to demonstrate Wealthbox and IFP-customized workflows on January 15th at 3pm ET. Register here.

BNY Mellon’s Albridge

The agreement with Albridge will provide IFP’s advisors access to Albridge Wealth Reporting, an award-winning, innovative solution that allows advisors to present a complete, holistic view of all client assets—even those held away.

For home office executives, Albridge will provide consolidated, normalized transactional data from multiple custodial and legacy systems, enabling executives with the broad view needed for critical business decision making.

“Albridge’s long-standing relationships in the industry, its deep development resources, as well as our enterprise-wide relationship with Pershing made Albridge the obvious choice for us as we launch our broker-dealer,” said Chris Hamm, Chief Operating Officer, IFP. “And while this partnership creates efficiencies at the home office level, what we’re most excited about is providing enhanced performance reporting for all of our advisors as part of our overall technology package. At most broker-dealers, advisors get basic account reporting but have to pay extra for a tool like Albridge. With us, it will be baked into everyone’s tech fee, which will be in line with what advisors are already paying to their current firms where they don’t get performance reporting out of the box.”

Albridge Wealth Reporting aggregates data from over a hundred sources to provide a consolidated view of assets. Through an easy-to-use dashboard interface, this software allows advisors to access household, account and security level performance information on demand, for any time period.

For IFP, Albridge will aggregate data from all of IFP’s custodians, providing IFP advisors with a broad view of all client information—including benchmarks, holdings and allocations—allowing them to offer holistic wealth management advice.

“For 20 years, we have been focusing on providing advisors and firms with data and reporting solutions to help them make smart decisions and better manage their operations,” said Marc Butler, COO, BNY Mellon’s Albridge. “We believe our ability to deliver normalized, clean, performance-ready data will prove instrumental for IFP advisors to deliver holistic, well-informed financial advice and enhance client satisfaction. We are thrilled to work with IFP on propelling their advisors’ success.”
