Responsibilities:

Jeff champions a message of the upside opportunities possible for Advisors who incorporate a multidisciplinary business model supported by IFP’s integrated ecosystem. His primary responsibilities are the continual evolution and efficient execution of multifaceted business development strategies aimed at helping Advisors exponentially grow and diversify their practice capabilities, create enhanced and expanded revenue streams and ultimately drive enhanced business valuations.

In addition to serving the entirety of IFP as its Chief Business Development Officer, Jeff is also President of IFP Plan Advisors. He is driven by a fiduciary based business model mindset focused on helping Advisors, whether specialists, generalists or occasionalists, serve the needs of retirement plan sponsors and their participants through IFP’s in-house resources and enterprise level partnerships. While our integrated ecosystem can support Advisors across the spectrum of micro to mega sized plans, our Plan Advisors’ division has a special focus on meeting the unique needs of micro-to-mid size plan sponsors with an approach that expands the opportunities of our Advisors exponentially.

Career Before IFP:

Jeff has been a client facing Advisor for over 40 years practicing in multiple and uniquely different organizational venues. His experience includes not only advising and educating clients but also training and coaching Advisors as well as providing industry leadership and building trusted relationships therein, all of which now feed into the IFP value proposition.

He was attracted to IFP in 2017 because of its ability to support the business model of his Advanced Strategies Group (ASG) which focused on the integration of qualified plans, nonqualified executive benefits, corporate asset management, HNW wealth management and creative insurance solutions. Prior to his founding of ASG, Jeff headed up the Advisory Services team for one of the most successful nonqualified plan marketing organizations in industry where his focus was on helping employers design and implement incentive-based deferred compensation and executive benefit plans as well as advising HNW individuals on ways to accumulate wealth through tax favored planning strategies. Prior to that role, he spent 14 years as a co-managing partner of a large regional CPA firm’s affiliated wealth management arm and specifically, its retirement plan business.

He currently is on the Board of Directors for the American Retirement Association, is the Immediate Past President of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) and still serves the organization as a member of its Leadership Council and as Chairman of NAPA’s Nonqualified Plan Advisors certificate program and annual conference.
